Tigerswan: Three Benefits of Being Involved with Charitable Organizations

The leaders at Tigerswan, a prominent risk management and mitigation agency with clients all over the globe, know that there are numerous benefits of giving back to charitable organizations with both time and money for reasons such as the following:

  • Being involved with charity organizations can be morale-boosting for employees. People often don’t have the time in their busy schedules to find volunteer opportunities, and allowing your workers to participate in charitable initiatives can improve workplace culture by deepening relationships and improving workers’ feelings about their employer.

  • Working with charitable organizations can be an excellent way to get your company’s name out in the open, as donations often come with an opportunity to share your message, such as charity balls or sports tournaments.

  •  Donating to charity organizations can benefit your company’s tax deductions, often resulting in savings while at the same time supporting your community.

Black Swan, a Tigerswan program, is dedicated to working with a variety of charitable organizations.

James Reese of TigerSwan: Three Basic Tips for Successful Brand Management

James Reese, the founder, chairman, and CEO of TigerSwan, knows that brand management is crucial for building a strong, streamlined business. Those opening their own companies or trying to build their brands may benefit from the following tips:

  • Building your brand means being able to identify the key purpose, vision, mission, and character of your company, and staying true to it. Confusing your message can often confuse potential clients and may steer them off toward other companies. Be consistent.
  • Look inward toward your employees for valuable information about your brand. Sometimes being at the top and deeply involved in the company can make it difficult to imagine what people outside may see, and your employees are a fast track to understanding how people may receive your company’s message.
  •  James Reese of TigerSwan understands the importance of branding through making the emotional connection with prospective clients. If people can imagine themselves using your products because you’ve tugged at their heartstrings, you’re on the right track.

TigerSwan: Investing in Travel Security

One of the aspects that global risk management and mitigation firm TigerSwan has focused on is providing travel security to individuals and families. Often, when people prepare to travel overseas, the aspect of travel security is one that is overlooked. However, it's an important one to acknowledge, especially for individuals and groups who travel to foreign and hostile environments where regulations are not familiar.

TigerSwan

As a tourist or business traveler, you need to be more aware of international travel security, and possibly engage experts such as TigerSwan to help you prepare. At an individual level, one of the things you can do while on a trip is to vary your routine. Criminals thrive on routine, so as much as possible, make it hard for anyone watching to detect patterns.

With mobile devices more popular, it's wise to make use of cell phone service whenever you travel. Having a list of emergency numbers on speed dial can help ensure that you communicate quickly with anyone when the need arises.

TigerSwan: Combat Leadership Lessons

TigerSwan, LLC, is a Crisis Management and Global Stability firm headquartered in Apex, North Carolina, with operations on five continents. It was founded by a retired member of the United States Delta Force in 2008 and employs highly-trained team members to protect and secure clients around the world. Crisis leadership is just one of the many skills required of a TigerSwan team member, but it is among the most valuable. If you travel or otherwise spend time in high-risk, politically-sensitive areas, crisis leadership lessons like these can help you stay safe when faced with an emergency:

·         The Time to Prepare is Now

To succeed in an emergency, you need to prepare your body, mind and team. For most of us, we don’t have a team to train, but we do have ourselves. Maintaining your physical and mental health, and engaging in tactical or military training, will help you confront and conquer potential problems in the future.

·         If You Don’t Know, Ask

Should a crisis occur and you find yourself accepting roles, like administering CPR to victims or leading a group to safety, don’t feign knowledge. If you don’t know how to do something or are otherwise lacking information, ask. There’s no shame in admitting a lack of knowledge.
